CDC Report Reveals How Lazy South Carolinian's Are.

A new report by the Centers of Disease Control surveyed Americans on laziness.: Respondents were classified as physically inactive if they responded “no” to the following question: “During the past month, other than your regular job, did you participate in any physical activities or exercises such as running, calisthenics, golf, gardening, or walking for exercise?” South Carolina checked in with 27.2% of adults doing nothing more than the minimum to survive.

At least 30% of people in seven states and two U.S. territories are totally inactive. Those include

  • Tennessee
  • Oklahoma
  • Louisiana
  • Alabama
  • Kentucky
  • Arkansas
  • Mississippi
  • Puerto Rico
  • Guam
  • The South had the highest level of inactivity (28%), followed by the Northeast (25.6%), Midwest (25%) and the West (20.5%).
  • As for the most active states, those would be Colorado, Washington, Utah and Oregon, and the District of Columbia, where between 15% and 20% of adults are physically inactive.
